Andrea
McDowell Poehler is a shareholder with Campbell Knutson and practices
in the areas of Estate Planning, General Municipal, Labor and Employment,
Land Use and Real Estate.
Andrea graduated from St. Olaf College in 1986, majoring in English and
Mathematics. In 1991, she graduated with honors from William Mitchell
College of Law where she served as an editor and staff member of the William
Mitchell Law Review.
Andrea is the City Attorney for the cities of Elko and New Market. She
functions as the Assistant City Attorney for the cities of Chanhassen,
Falcon Heights, Farmington, Lakeville, Plymouth and Mora.
Andrea has an extensive background in municipal law, including land use
planning and development, zoning, contracts, personnel, data practices
and ordinance preparation. In addition, Andrea handles real estate matters
for the firm's municipal clients. She also attends all Lakeville Planning
Commission meetings.
Before joining Campbell Knutson in 1993, Andrea clerked for the Honorable
Jack Davies of the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
