Joel
J. Jamnik is a shareholder in the firm of Campbell Knutson and
practices in the areas of General Municipal Law, Labor and Employment,
Land Use and Utility and Telecommunications Regulation.
Joel graduated with honors from St. Cloud State University, majoring
in Criminal Justice and Political Science and in 1983 received
his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
Joel is the City Attorney for the cities of Braham, Farmington,
Lindstrom and Mora. He is the Assistant City Attorney for the
cities of Burnsville, Chanhassen, Lakeville, Plymouth and St.
Louis Park.
Joel was Legislative Counsel and Senior Intergovernmental Relations
Representative for the League of Minnesota Cities from 1983 to
1997, with primary responsibility for land use, environmental,
criminal law, transportation, personnel, public safety and general
government issues. He was chief author of the Handbook for Minnesota
Cities, 1983-1995.
