Amy Schmidt is an attorney with nearly 25 years of experience in municipal law, serving municipalities of all sizes, as well as Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, Economic Development Authorities, and the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority.

Amy got her start as a law clerk at the Saint Paul City Attorney’s Office in 2000 while still in law school. While there, she developed a passion for serving public entities, and that passion has continued over the course of her career. Amy has served as a staff attorney at the League of Minnesota Cities, as a contract city attorney for more than 15 municipalities (civil and prosecution), as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Bloomington, and as an Assistant Ramsey County Attorney.

Amy brings a wealth of general municipal knowledge and experience to Campbell Knutson, and also specializes in real estate transactions and development, land use, property management, economic development, affordable housing, and transit development and management.
