Andrea McDowell Poehler is a shareholder and President of Campbell Knutson, P.A. Andrea focuses her practice in the area of municipal law. Andrea graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics and English from St. Olaf College in 1986. She graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 1991, where she was also an Editor of the William Mitchell Law Review. After graduating from law school, she worked in the legal department for the Star Tribune and later clerked for Judge Davies with the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Andrea joined Campbell Knutson in 1993 where she developed a focus on local government issues. Andrea currently serves as the City Attorney for Lakeville and Elko New Market and represents the Hastings Economic Development and Redevelopment Authority. Andrea works with nearly all of the firm’s municipal clients advising on all areas of municipal law. She also serves as a primary consultant on development and real estate matters on behalf of our cities and assists our clients’ Housing and Redevelopment and Economic Development Authorities.
