Ben Colburn is an associate attorney at Campbell Knutson practicing in criminal prosecution. Ben graduated from Carleton College with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and from William Mitchell College of Law with a Juris Doctor. Ben also studied English Literature and Romantic Poetry at Lancaster University in England, and completed additional coursework as a graduate at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Before law school, Ben worked as a USPTA certified tennis teaching professional and High School tennis Coach in the greater Milwaukee area. Upon graduation from law school, Ben served as a judicial law clerk for both the Honorable Donald Rysavy and the Honorable Fred Wellmann in the Third District of Minnesota. After his judicial clerkship, Ben practiced in the areas of private criminal defense and family law for ten years in central Minnesota before moving his practice to become a criminal prosecutor for numerous Cities in Dakota County. In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, disc golf, gardening, and cooking.
