Corrine Heine advises local government bodies on the wide gamut of legal issues they face, including contracting, land use planning, drafting and interpreting ordinances, and general legal compliance. Corrine has extensive experience in advising cities and local government bodies and is a recognized leader in the municipal field. She is a past president of the Minnesota City Attorney’s Association, past chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association Eminent Domain Section, and a past president of Minnesota Women Lawyers. She has received two awards from the International Municipal Lawyers Association: one for distinguished public service and the other for outstanding state/provincial chair. Corrine was an instructor for the Municipal Clerks’ Institute for many years and has given numerous presentations on open meeting law, data practices, land use, real estate, and eminent domain for the Minnesota City Attorney’s Association, Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association, Minnesota Continuing Legal Education, and the Minnesota Government Finance Officers Association. Corrine was the in-house city attorney for the City of Minnetonka from 2013 to 2025.
